Tempelhof airport approach 1936
1 page
Before the current (now closed) Tempelhof Airport with
its huge building went into operation, the first
Tempelhof Airport was located on the same site in the
middle of Berlin. Until the end of the war, some of the
hangars at the small airfield were still in use.
The small airport is shown on this approach map. In
1936 construction began on the new building on the
left (to the west). Today nothing of this first airport
exists anymore.

AGO Ao 192 Kurier
1 page
This 3-view depicts the largely unknown german courier aircraft from
the Apparatebau GmbH Oschersleben. First flown in 1935 this clean
aircraft was produced only in nine examples. The Luftwaffe preferred
the Siebel Si 104 for this use.
Please note that the engines are pointing a little outwards to give
better control when flying with one engine only.

Einstellbericht Messerschmitt Me 210 GI+SQ
2 pages
The twin-engined Messerschmitt destroyer aircraft Me 210, serial
210013 (Prototype no. 13) was testflown at the Messerschmitt
plant at Augsburg. This report from September 19th, 1941 gives
all ruder adjustments and flap movements used during this flight.
It is a good example of how accurate all testpilots of the
Luftwaffe or companies had to report every flight made. At this
time, nearly three month after the Wehrmacht invaded the
Sovietunion, new aircraft are desperately needed by the
Luftwaffe. The Me 210 was intended as the successor to the
Messerschmitt Bf 110. Pressed into production without
throroughly testing (different from what this document seems to
show), hundreds of produced fuselages had to be scrapped,
because the Me 210 was not stable in flight and the tail tends to
flutter.
